Bird flu gone mad
The Greek apparently lost their 1 case of bird flu they found so far, so they could never test it for the deadly strain... read Brian Church's comments in Athens News
In London people actually seem more panicky about the new certain death bird flu pandemic than they ever were about the London bombings. The media's endless speculation regarding this will-eventually-may-be-pandemic has been mad! People also frenzidly paid millions into the tsunami relief effort but pennies into the more overwhelming earthquake disaster in Kashmir.
And it finally looks like England will ban some public smoking in enclosed spaces, or officially ban it but let people do what they like as long as they don't eat and smoke in the same room, nothing new there. Best also give it until at least 2007 to please everyone and then make loads of exceptions. Wonder what this will do to our binge-drinking culture now? Another pint in the freezing cold and wet beer garden anyone?
(I've encouraged a similar non-smoking policy in our house - no smorking near the public spaces, smoking only allowed in miniature enclosed spaces or outside exposed to the natural elements, muahaha) Suddenly 3 of me friends have almost quit!
Well bad!
