Kräftskiva
As traditional in late summer we held our yearly kräftskiva, or crayfish party as I call it in English. In Gothenburg it's always more of a prawn-party though as most don't seem to like the lovely crayfish, or langoustines, as they eat on the West coast!
I get hungry just looking at them now! They are usually boiled in water with dill and salt and a pinch of sugar. This year's were absolutely superb! As you can see from my picture you also have to wear a hat!
For once it was warm enough to sit outside and the weather was lovely but I'm not sure if I should call our evening a kräftskiva as we spent most of the night singing karaoke in the lounge. It was nice to exercise our vocal cords as loud as possible. Click the link in the title to see all the photos on my msn spaces.
