Kräftskiva

As traditional in late summer we held our yearly kräftskiva, or crayfish party as I call it in English. In Gothenburg it's always more of a prawn-party though as most don't seem to like the lovely crayfish, or langoustines, as they eat on the West coast!

I get hungry just looking at them now! They are usually boiled in water with dill and salt and a pinch of sugar. This year's were absolutely superb! As you can see from my picture you also have to wear a hat!

For once it was warm enough to sit outside and the weather was lovely but I'm not sure if I should call our evening a kräftskiva as we spent most of the night singing karaoke in the lounge.
