Finland 05 and thoughts in general
I can't say how much I long to go back to my holiday in Finland last week or anything! Even the R.E.M. concert! It was as fabulous as I thought it would be and better! I really need to live in a place like that, close to nature, and the ability to pick blueberries for breakfast! Or pick mushrooms in the fall. My only problem is that I didn't own a pair of wellies so not much forrest walking for me. But oh how I long to go back!
The weather was threatening to rain on us quite a bit and made sure we knew it was there but from Monday onwards it shaped up amazingly and I don't really remember any rain after that.... erhm.
The week passed consuming what the land would give us, but the best thing I've ever tasted was that warm-smoked salmon... mmm... of course it will never happen in London since fish here is expensive enough! Unless Niina and Neil decide to invest in a small fish smokin machine, haha!
After a week that close to nature and without that many people around you, you don't expect to want to come back to London, but then as you near the place your stomach gets flutters! How am I ever going to move from here? It is not the healthiest place to live in and I almost saw myself moving out and away and back to nature.... but WHERE? I suppose Gothenburg is the only other place I can see myself actually living in.... but I want my staff tickets and all the things that come with London-life! How will I find my international community anywhere than outside Sweden? I am always rudely reminded on the ways of the Swedes at home, they have it so good but they still find ways to be jealous of what their neighbour has or does. And after living in a trully multi-cultural London, you can see where Scandinavia is not tolerant of their immigrants.
Right now I miss everything that resembles a holiday at the moment so I am pleased to announce that I will be taking an overnighter to G-burg on the 20th for another wedding party... it's just that kinda year! If the flights let me!
Mwaa to everybody who stayed with me this long!
Oh yeah, before I forget, my photos are on msn:

Charlie, I know where you´re coming from. London seems to keep on calling you home... Don`t have a clue why really, but it just grows on you. I`m sure we`ll meet up again in a couple of months and find out why in the Old Post Office or so over a good laugh. Am looking forward to catching up again! I`ll be following your stories in the mean time. Big hug from the Peruvian Andes... Ellen x

Cool pictures Charlie but what happened. I thought you were gonna have a fluffy pink dress, that dress was purple and looked great. That is incorrect of a bridesmaid to have decent clothes, they should look scruffy or ridiculus to avoid the bride to be jealous. Some people just dont have any sense at all.. :) Say hello to Nina from me as well, congrats and all that...
