Weekend in Brighton
Another fantastic weekend down in Brighton staying with Mette and John. In the first photo you can see us going for a spin in their new car, a Mini!
On Friday night we had a Greek Salad, snacks and red wine which kept us up late. We were not terribly fortunate with the weather on Saturday so we spent most day inside and then down the lanes window shopping, and of course
Erika finished shopping early so we could enjoy a beer and a cidre on the beach by the Fortune of War which no Brighton trip is complete without!
The weather shaped up later on so that we could go out on the town. I have never seen so many hen nights in my life! In the first pub, The Black Lion there were even male strippers and screaming girls at the back of the pub. We were quite happy we couldn't see anything. We then took a taxi up to Kemp Town for some more drinks but then the club we wanted to go to next door had closed its doors early so all we could do was go back into town and try a club playing 60s music. It was quite empty but the music was good and there were no hen nights in there!
So Sunday meant going to the beach for a couple of hours to top up our tan and then have some fish and chips on the beach in fog! Well, well, I go to Brighton so often bad weather is never a big problem...
