Too Busy to Blog - World Cup Fever

Hello again!

London is enjoying a great long heat wave with the weather offering some great thunder storms in between. I had the pleasure of getting caught in one today coming home from work! And with great weather comes great opportunities to meet new people.

This summer's fun started with the World Cup and plenty of small trips out of town. We made our local pub The Three Kings our favorite for watching the games in our blue and yellow shirts and Swedish flags.



Although Sweden were sadly beaten by Germany we of course we celebrated England's game against Portugal and a second midsummer in style with our traditional smörgåstårta,

in Union Jack fashion! Unfortunately it wasn't enough to keep our second team in the game... Not even our third team France made it but we did enjoy the semis and finals to the full!
